Abstract
This four-page report addresses the need for integrating the new technologies, both with each other and with the mission and core values of individual institutions, to position higher education for success in a fiscally constrained information age. The focus is the inevitability of the computing revolution and suggestions for successful integration, with emphasis on the importance of high-level, committed leadership. The first release in a series of executive strategies reports offered by the HEIRAlliance, a collaboration between CAUSE, EDUCOM, and the Association of Research Libraries.
