Abstract
This panel session included a summary of the results of a recent survey of the members of the CIO-L list-server regarding their role in the curriculum change process, and the sharing by four CIO panelists of the answers, suggested by their experience, to the questions: "What are the appropriate roles of the CIO in the curriculum change process?" and "What professional and personal preparation will best enable the CIO to fulfill those roles?
