Abstract

Mellon Foundation study, University Libraries and Scholarly Communication, which looks at the current position of university libraries and their choices for the future. Identifies financial pressure points, opportunities offered by electronic technologies, issues for transition, and the importance of accepting the transition. The second release in a series of executive strategies reports offered by the HEIRAlliance, a collaboration between CAUSE, EDUCOM, and the Association of Research Libraries.
