Abstract
How should liberal arts colleges plan for information technology? An alternative to traditional planning processes is the opportunistic approach -- seeking non-technology priorities for which information technology investments can be justified. In this article, the cases of two liberal arts colleges illustrate such opportunistic approaches and outcomes.
