Abstract
The Catholic University of America (CUA) School of Engineering and Computer Center are in the process of connecting 15 local-area high schools to the existing campus network to provide Internet access in a project called "The Connections Program." This paper describes the partnering experiences, the technology used, the development of an affiliation agreement between CUA and the schools, and the importance of developing acceptable use policies. These experiences should benefit other institutions undertaking similar projects.
