Abstract

As technical compatibility standards have become critical in business and industrial computing, educational software interoperability is rapidly becoming an issue for users and developers of educational information systems.This article puts forward the case for interoperability in educational software and lists the tasks needed for designing, developing, and implementing interoperable systems.
