Abstract
With the recent explosion of Internet information resources, academic computing and library organizations face the dilemmas of who is responsible for Internet services and how to best provide these services. This paper describes how two very different universities solved these problems by having academic computing and university libraries jointly develop a series of discipline-specific seminars on Internet resources. This paper covers how the seminar series idea developed; seminar logistics, content and organization; how these seminars differed from previous Internet workshops; the strengths both organizations brought to the efforts; measures of the program success; and differences in the implementations.
