Abstract
Arizona State Universityis Student Information Systems database will not function correctly as the new century approaches, since most date and semester fields are two-digit and cannot accommodate the year 2000. The Applications and Consulting Information Technology unit has undertaken a project to resolve this problem. This paper summarized the goals and progress of the project, which began in 1994 and is scheduled for completion in 1998.
