Abstract
This paper describes Kansas State University's experience in deploying the client software in a PeopleSoft Human Resource Information System implementation, with an emphasis on minimizing maintenance problems caused by future version releases of the client software. The solution involved installing the client software on only four servers to service the main campus and the branch college 60 miles away.
