Abstract
This paper describes Louisiana State University's Personal Access Web Services (PAWS). PAWS is a dynamic Web-based desktop that delivers a range of customized services to students, faculty, and staff. Services include personal communication applications, courseware applications, library services applications, technical support applications, and administrative applications such as grade posting and grade inquiry. The paper describes how users interact with PAWS and also provides information about the PAWS infrastructure.
