Abstract
(This is a PowerPoint presentation) In order for Indiana University to realize the value of its ERP and other vended and home-grown systems, a distributed web-based front-end for all end users (students, prospective students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff) is being implemented at Indiana University. The front-end includes a customizable portal with a single authentication point and role-based access, online activities for customer self-service, access to administrative transaction activity and reporting/data analysis tools. A powerful workflow engine to automate routing and approval activities is also planned. This presentation will detail how Indiana University is designing and will deploy this universal web-based front end to all its administrative systems.
