Abstract
This session will present the academic advising system (eLion) project underway at Pennsylvania State University. Design of this system began in 1995, with the first deliverables appearing on the Web in 1997. Since that time, additional services have been released every six months. eLion meets the specific academic advising information and services required by students, classroom faculty, and academic advisers. Much of the system is secure and requires the use of a university-issued user-id and password.
