Abstract
This session will summarize the recent ECAR (EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research) study conducted by IDC, which explores trends, directions, and impacts of wireless communications in higher education. The ECAR study examines higher education's adoption of wireless technologies and provides information on how these technologies complement the wired infrastructure and influence IT plans and the delivery of academic programs and services.
