Abstract

Princeton's Office of Information Technology (OIT) created an Authentication Task Force with an underlying set of principles that has helped overcome technical and political hurdles. The culmination is a "KISSS: Keep IT Secure! Keep IT Safe! Keep IT Simple!" campaign that will remove crackable password stores, enforce encrypted password sessions, and synchronize ID/passwords across university systems.
