FOCUSING QUESTIONS:
1. What are some reactions that higher education could have to the current forces for accountability, that would be creative, innovative, flexible and learning centered? 2. What are some examples of these - and how does technology enable such responses? 3. How could the national research agenda inform and facilitate these institutional responses and activities? 4. How can we influence the national research agenda?
