The Inducing Infringement of Copyrights Act (SB2560), sponsored by Sens. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), is supported by the music labels and Hollywood studios, which say peer-to-peer software has wreaked havoc on their livelihood.
