Abstract

As the frequency and severity of Internet attacks on distributed desktop computers continue to rise, some institutions are turning to a managed approach to patching systems. This panel of information security practitioners will discuss their experiences implementing patch management at their institutions, including the development of policy, the examination of alternatives, the deployment of approaches, and the results obtained.
