Abstract
Last year, more than 50 senior administrators participated in an online EDUCAUSE working group to discuss issues associated with funding IT on college and university campuses. One result of this effort was "Funding Information Technology," an executive briefing mailed in January to university senior executives under the auspices of EDUCAUSE and NACUBO. The briefing suggests several fundamental guiding principles and practices for IT funding based on the conclusions of the working group. In this session, one of the working group leaders will review the group's principles and practices and will present some examples discovered during working-group discussions.
