Abstract
IT service delivery is in a transitional stage; it is undergoing a shift from the management of technologies to the management of services. In an era in which higher education IT units are being asked to “do more with less,” many are looking for strategies to decrease costs, increase flexibility, and streamline processes in delivering services that meet mobility demands and take advantage of increased opportunities for collaboration. The overall challenge is uncovering the most effective methods for managing, delivering, and sourcing IT services.
