Abstract
Harvard University's central computing and development office personnel joined forces to develop a prototype of a client/server fundraising system. SOLAR provides management and fundraising personnel the ability to access and share summary and prospect information. This article describes the development of the system and the management strategies that were critical to its success. This was also a presentation at CAUSE93; see CNC9327.
