Abstract
This video depicts a dialogue between a librarian and an information technology professional, based on their mutual conviction that information professionals must assume active leadership in higher education's transforming environment. The session explores both the mythology and reality of the issues that separate the two cultures and inhibit enlightened leadership as their roles in higher education converge. This was a general session at the 1996 CAUSE annual conference.
