Abstract
In this Current Issues article, the author, Associate Director of University Computing Services at Indiana University, describes the need for better user services and organizational collaboration in the information professions and comments on CNI's "Call for Statements of Interest and Experience: Enterprise-Wide Information Strategies" and how the challenges outlined in the Call address the issues of convergence in the field.
