Abstract
This article is from a regular department in _CAUSE/EFFECT_ journal that reports on the activities of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), formed by the Association of Research Libraries, CAUSE, and Educom. The author, chair of the CNI steering committee, pays tribute to Paul Evan Peters, the late executive director of CNI, and discusses factors of Petersi position that CNI hopes to maintain while in this period of transition of looking for a new executive director.
