Abstract
This paper describes Bailiwick, a new electronic publishing project of theThe University of Iowa Libraries' Information Arcade. Bailiwick is a space where academic passions can be realized in digital media as highly specialized Web sites. Bailiwick web sites are experimental in nature, provide comprehensive scholarly resources, support an unique electronic tool, or explore a narrow, highly specialized topic. The paper describes the types of Bailiwicks, project policies, and related support services.
