Abstract
This presentation chronicles an award-winning (EDUCAUSE99) Web site's development by leveraging a legacy degree audit system. The emphasis is not on Washington State University, but on how to see the potential of legacy technologies and creatively leverage them to maximize information access. This is a study of the systematic, creative, and relatively simple integration of in-house technologies. The intent is to inspire a vision for innovation: Never say never; creatively leverage what you have!
