Abstract
Brooklyn College is using an imaginative hybrid approach to Web-based teaching that builds on our interdisciplinary core curriculum: a sequence of general education courses that fuses class time with online instruction. This fresh, inventive model gives students the best aspects of both experiences, making the core curriculum more inviting, effective, coherent, individualized, and activity-based.
