SAIC - How to Incorporate Effective IT Business Practices in a University Environment through a Public-Private Partnership

Abstract

The University of Tennessee and SAIC have formed a partnership for rapid and effective accomplishment of key university IT initiatives. This approach provides technical and management expertise on a timely basis, outside the traditional public university procurement model. The partnership also focuses on long-term joint ventures for both organizations.
