Brakes, Shocks, and Struts: An ECAR Report on IT Alignment in Higher Education

Abstract

This session reports the results of the June 2004 ECAR research study, Information Technology Alignment in Higher Education. For this study, ECAR surveyed 464 U.S. and 19 Canadian institutions and conducted qualitative interviews with 22 institutions to discover how information technology priorities, plans, resources, intentions, and actions are aligned with the broad institutional vision.
