Abstract
Polaris is an in-house e-portfolio system for engineering students developed by The University of Texas at Austin's College of Engineering. Distinguished from other e-portfolio systems by being tailored to the specific needs of engineering undergraduates, it incorporates special exercises designed to help them reflect on the relevance of their academic experiences to their evolving sense of themselves as engineers.
