Evaluating IT and Library Services with the MISO Survey

Abstract

This ECAR research bulletin offers a detailed look at the Measuring Information Service Outcomes (MISO) Survey. Following a description of the underlying survey methodology, this bulletin highlights recent service benchmarks and trends that show how the MISO Survey tracks changes in the IT and library landscape across higher education. The bulletin also suggests how to create an institutional assessment strategy based on MISO Survey results and poses questions for cabinet-level discussion in local campus settings.
