Abstract
This report from the Alliance for Excellent Education outlines the primary components of a learner-centered environment, the role of the teacher in a learner-centered environment, and the importance of professional learning and support for teachers to create a culture shift that enables a focus on the needs of each student. The culture shift includes maximizing the potential of digital learning to meet students' needs.
