Abstract
Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) and Learner Profiles help a student to identify academic and social-emotional needs, goals, and pace; keep track of them; and teachers use them to truly personalize learning. This brief details how three schools in the Next Generation Learning Challenges network are using these tools to advance student learning and success.
This innovation brief from Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) is part of a series of briefs that describes tools and strategies from the NGLC network of breakthrough model grant recipients in both K-12 and higher education. The Next Gen Tools briefs are intended for practitioners within and outside of the network who wish to learn about emerging practices with an eye toward future implementation.
NGLC accelerates educational innovation through applied technology to dramatically improve college readiness and completion in the United States. To learn more about NGLC and the grantees it supports, visit nextgenlearning.org
