Abstract
In this discussion, Jackie Milhans provides examples of KPIs and metrics that can be helpful in understanding the impact of Research Computing and Data services on research, as well as areas that need to be improved. When requesting additional resources, it can be difficult to show return on investment, as metrics are not generally standardized in this area. We will discuss metrics that can be helpful in demonstrating support and infrastructure gaps, as well as showing service adoption. We will open up to allow others to provide examples, ask questions, and discuss.
