EDUCAUSE recently created a Guide to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, these resources include action steps to put the principles of DEI into practice, as well as learning and engagement opportunities to deepen your community's understanding and continue your journey. The guide includes The Inclusive Hiring Kit. EDUCAUSE has also developed an official style guide for inclusive, bias-free, and equitable language.
The EDUCAUSE Board, together with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force and the EDUCAUSE leadership team, invites all senior IT leaders in our community to support the CIO Commitment Statement. The goal of the statement is to build momentum for a set of practices that will foster greater diversity in our field
