Abstract
The NLII Viewpoint is a collection of previously published articles that discuss the relationship between technology and instruction. The purpose of the NLII Viewpoint is to identify substantive articles and commentary that are relevant or illustrate the National Learning Infrastructure Inititiative's key themes. The six articles collected in this Viewpoint focus on the following themes: (1) using technology to lessen the labor-intensive aspects of instruction, (2) using technology to create active learning experiences, and (3) changing pedagogy to increase learning.
