Abstract
Critical for good organization of multi-section, multi-instructor courses offered to a big population of students is fast dissemination of the students' grades to the coordinating faculty, students, academic advisors and administrators. This paper proposes two solutions, with different approaches, for grading programs in the Internet environment. The first method is traditional and uses Perl script; the second one uses Java programming language to create a server and applets.
