Abstract
The EDUCAUSE Core Data Service (CDS) is in its ninth year. It has been completely overhauled to expand beyond the original focus on higher education IT costs and staffing. The CDS will now provide benchmarking information in such new areas as data centers, research computing, IT security, ERPs, system offices, IT in international institutions, and distributed computing. Session attendees will get a snapshot of IT in higher education from multiple angles. This presentation was from the 2011 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference.
