Abstract
"Profiles of Next Generation Learning" is a video series produced by Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Each video explores the ways schools and campuses are leveraging technology to make learning more personal, more flexible, and more meaningful to today’s students.
In this video, learn how Carnegie Mellon University is meeting the challenges of today’s universities through the Open Learning Initiative. This open project utilizes learning researchers, software engineers, and content experts to create innovative, high-quality online courses that are open to anyone. Beyond expanding access, the project creates a continuous feedback loop, providing feedback to students, course developers, researchers, and faculty to further what we know about how students learn.
