Abstract
MERLOT, an organization of twenty-three higher education systems, consortia, and institutions, provides digital learning materials to faculty using the Web for teaching. An overview of the organization, the peer review processes to identify high quality materials, and the tools MERLOT uses to build discipline-specific faculty communities will be presented.
