Hardware and software systems are quickly being developed and implemented to build the virtual research communities along with the collaborative tools to knit these user communities together. Cyberinfrastructure encompasses a broad array of topics, including; data acquisition, storage, management, integration, mining, and visualization, as well as other computing and information processing services.
